The White Salmon Arts Council wishes to thank its many sponsors and donors. Since the formation of the organization in March 2005, their contributions, along with membership dues, have allowed the Arts Council to cover the costs of events and operating expenses such as paper supplies, postage, and insurance. In 2007, the contributions from our sponsors and donors allowed the Arts Council to provide art classes and workshops, and continue with events that showcase the works of area artists.
MISSION STATEMENT
The mission of the White Salmon Arts Council is to:
- Develop and promote artists and the arts through educational opportunities.
- Foster a spirit of community and goodwill through art marketing relationships with local businesses.
- Build an area-wide arts community through art-inspired programs and events.
The activities of the WSAC are open to all members of the community and we do not discriminate on the basis of sex, race, color, religion, creed, age, national origin, ancestry, sexual orientation, or disability.
