White Salmon Arts Council Art Scholarship

Graduating seniors who intend on studying the arts at an accredited college or university are eligible to apply for a White Salmon Arts Council scholarship grant of up to $2,000. Applications can be obtained from the White Salmon Arts Council website, through the scholarship program at the applicant’s high school, or by emailing info@WhiteSalmonArts.org.

Applicants can be public, private, parochial, or homeschool students living within the boundaries of the White Salmon Valley, Lyle, Klickitat, Glenwood, or Trout Lake school districts.The due date for submission of applications for 2012 was April 30. The scholarship grants will be announced at the end of May or first part of June 2012.

The new annual scholarship will help foster the mission of the White Salmon Arts Council to develop and promote artists and the arts through educational opportunities. The White Salmon arts Council is a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization whose signature fund raising event, the annual Art & Wine Fusion festival in downtown White Salmon on the third Saturday in July helps fund our scholarship and other community programs.
